About SOMA Breath

SOMA Breath’s overall mission is to empower people with knowledge, tools, and techniques to make positive and lasting changes in their lives. SOMA Breath techniques have the power to transform someone even down to a cellular level. SOMA Breath, considered as a whole, with its range of possible uses and applications, is a framework for total life transformation.

SOMA Breath is a complete holistic system of Pranayama techniques, which can be arranged into different sequences depending on the type of workshop you are attending as well as tailored to your specific needs. There is no one size fits all, and we take into account the fact that everyone is different and requires different breathing techniques depending on their needs. SOMA Therapeutic Breathwork techniques are the core Pranayama techniques that have the most scientific evidence to support their function.


SOMA Energized Meditation

The SOMA Energized Meditation Routine is a 1-hour long workshop based on rhythmic breathing and great, uplifting, music. It is designed to help participants become very efficient at using oxygen, and to build a tolerance to carbon dioxide. The Energized Meditation helps people to slow down their breathing to less than 10 breaths per minute, and encourages people to breathe through their nose more. The Energized Meditation Routine is designed to release tension from the body, boost your mood, and be a super-effective breathwork meditation. Anyone can take part in the Energised Meditation Routine – if you can breathe you can do it!

The Benefits of the Energized Meditation include:
  • Improves CO2 tolerance and nitric oxide production.
  • Improves oxygenation of tissue cells.
  • Reduces tension.
  • Trains oxygen efficiency.
  • Improves cardiovascular health.
  • Trains concentration and meditation.

Awakening

What is ‘brain change?’ According to the ancient mystics, the only way to truly change reality beyond your preset conditioned responses is to change your harddisk i.e your brain and subconscious imprints. This is how we change our behaviours, past conditioning and imprints and replace them with better patterns and habits for living an optimal life. The ‘Awakening’ is a supercharged version of Energized Meditation routine that takes you into the state of neurosomatic bliss that can help clear past traumas and aid self awareness. However you should start with the Energized Meditation routine before moving into deeper breathwork practice, hence we have created the 21 Day Awakening Protocol to take you on a journey.
